Initial Setup

Follow three steps to get your LaTeX environment running and complete your first successful build.

Steps

Step 1

Install MiKTeX and verify the base LaTeX toolchain is working.

Step 2

Install VS Code and add the LaTeX Workshop extension.

Step 3

Open the starter project, run the first build, and confirm the full toolchain works.

Once the first build succeeds, move into the daily editing workflow in VS Code.
